Well we found out more today about Mattie's brother. He is do well but is having surgery on his eye, some infection, and trouble breathing. He now weighs 2 lb 3 oz. We've been filling out paperwork and trying to find time to have physicals, etc... We are starting the process over for this little one. He is Mattie's sibling and she needs him. This turtle reminds me of the movie "Finding Nemo" where the daddy Turtle is swimming with his children. Family means the world to us and we have been so blessed with Mattie that I can't wait to bring him home too. We are not going into this blind, we know the work in front of us, but the reward for him and Mattie is what drives us. They will have each other to look too in the future, and most of all there is a reason that God has brought this decision to us. For those of you out there that do not understand why we are doing this, I can only say look to your own and what you would miss without them. I don't have the heart to turn that down.
