Father's day was yesterday and we took Dad to Rockfish Grill, had a wonderful lunch and then home to relax on a Sunday afternoon. It was great! Mark has been working on our kitchen giving some updates to the walls and the cabinets. We bought hardware and put on-Wow, the difference it has made. We found a great color-Granny Smith just like the apples to put onto the walls, it is a nice color. Not to bright, but not dull either. We met with our social worker for the adoption on Friday, it went very well. We were both very nervous about it. It was a lot of questions, but none that we were not prepared for. We even found out we can private adopt for 1/2 the cost and possibly get a baby! That really excited us both. We had put the thought of a baby out of our minds, even though we were asking for a 0 to 6 year old. We will keep our prayers going and our fingers crossed just in case. We also helped our friends move a fort this weekend. It was more work than we thought, but in the end the boys will be so happy for it.
